Hello and Welcome my fellow travelers! So glad to have you come by to get to know me as we walk with the LORD. By the grace of the Holy Spirit upon our hearts, my hope is that we may share our journeys as He speaks to us through His Word and each other.

Named after my Grandpa Jo and my Grandma Ann, I grew up among the cow pastures and apple orchards of upstate New York. With a degree in Physical Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a husband God gifted me, I ventured to Arizona. Long walks and bicycle rides through this beautiful western landscape have often brought me into the presence of its Creator.

From childhood, my dream has been to devote myself to God but life’s distractions hit and my path took a long detour. I can’t say I forgot about Him entirely, but I did put Him in a little box that, more times than not, got lost. It took me years and many struggles to admit my weaknesses and find my courage to search out that box, open it and receive all that was mine. Choosing to keep my eyes always on Him, to never again turn away and hide, God took me on the most amazing journey through healing and hope, restoration and revelation, making me new.

Recently, His still small voice flooded my heart with an all-consuming passion. Like a strong wind at my back, there was no turning around or side stepping, just moving forward in the strength of His Will and desire for me. And that is why I am here with you today. The call was to use my voice through writing to share the life I experience in Him. Though I am not entirely sure what it is He wants me to say, I know He will be faithful to reveal the words that will bless all our hearts. I have simply decided to listen, surrender to His Will and allow His Spirit to direct me daily.

This new season of writing that He has invited me into, I am sure will be a season all too often of pruning as well as incredible discovery. I welcome it knowing He goes before, walks alongside, and protects behind me.

My prayer is that I may be God’s witness: to share, to encourage, and inspire all of us to live this life in Him. Come along, won’t you?

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with the demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
1 Corinthians 2:4

The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you – they are full of the Spirit and life.” John 6:63
